DIY At-Home Facial

While many (if not all) of us are currently sheltering-in-place to keep safe, there are plenty of ways we can continue to build out our self-care routines! One of our very favorites is to create an at-home facial using things you probably already have in your bathroom cabinet.

You’ll need:

  • Large pot for boiling water
  • Towel
  • Dried tea, flower petals or lemon slices
  • Essential oils (optional)
  • Your favorite Dr. Cure 7 Healing Melting Masque (or mask of your choice)
  • Jade Roller (optional)
  • Your Dr. Cure 7 Hyaluron Intensive Serum

To get started, gently cleanse your face. Next, boil some water in a large pot. Once boiling, add some dried tea leaves, lemon slices or a drop or two of your favorite essential oil. Reduce the heat to low and simmer for a few minutes until fragrant.

Now, safely transfer the water to a large bowl and lean over the bowl with a towel covering your head so that no steam can escape. Breathe in the soothing scents while the steam works it’s magic to soothe and detoxify your skin - bonus, it can also help clear your sinuses! Stay put for about 5 minutes.

Reach for your Healing Melting Masque or other sheet mask, apply to your face and get started on your favorite task while you wait for the masque to dry. You can read, have a snack or even take a nap! Once transparent, remove the masque and feel how plump and luscious your skin feels.

If you have a jade roller handy, this is the perfect time to use it. Using a jade roller has been proven to reduce swelling and puffiness, improve circulation and also help to gently massage products into your skin.

Finish with a few drops of our Hyaluron Intensive Serum to pack in that extra moisture and keep skin feeling bouncy and supple. Give yourself a pat on the back for such a luxurious, spa experience right at home!
